Sarah McLachlan,
Born on January 28, 1968 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has been nominated for twenty-one Juno Awards and awarded eight. She has also won three Grammy Awards.
Since her signing with Nettwerk Records two decades ago, every one of Sarah McLachlan studio and live albums and videos has been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the RIAA.
She married Ashwin Sood, her longtime drummer in 1997 in Jamaica. She has 2 girls, one born in 2002 and the other one in 2008.
