Leaving downtown Vancouver we will cross over our first beautiful landmark, the Lions Gate Bridge heading to West Vancouver. Our first stop will be the majestic Cypress Mountain Lookout. Here you will have spectacular views of downtown Vancouver, with some of its suburbs. To the south you will be able to see some on the mountains in Washington State, and to the west you will be able to see Vancouver Island. After having some time to take pictures we will head down the mountain towards Horseshoe Bay and Whytecliff Park.
Horseshoe Bay is a quaint panoramic fishing town that homes one our Ferry terminals and is one of the favourite spots for locals. We will then visit Whytecliff Park, one of the favourite local beauties of West Vancouver. It is found on the corner of the Howe Sound where you can see spectacular views of the mountains, the fjords, and the open ocean. The waters of the Park became Canada’s first Salt Water Marine Protected Area in 1993 and now are famous for incredible scuba diving. Having enjoyed our stop we will head to the famous Sea to Sky Gondola. The newest adventure in the Sea to Sky Corridor. This Gondola will take you 886 meters high to one of the most beautiful spots.
When you reach the top you will find that there is much to do.There are 3 viewing decks; The Summit Viewing Deck is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and a refreshing beverage while taking in the views. The Spirit Viewing Platform is very close and you can get to it by the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, it is easily accessible and The Chief Overlook Viewing Platform cantilevers over hundreds of metres of sheer drop! This trip will be a memorable!
